How We Were Born
There was a 8 month renovation period prior to opening back in 2008.
The Restaurant was taken over as a total blank shell. One drawing by Jimmy to show Gentoo (the landlords) how his restaurant would look was enough for them to agree to the lease.
Jimmy’s dad David carried out the site manager’s role along with being the electrician, he worked with some talented joiners, bricklayers & painters to get D’acqua open later in 2008.
